Wine lovers will be pleased to hear that the award-winning Sarris Winery, which offers evening tastings, can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. The island’s bustling capital Argostoli, a fifteen minutes drive away, is perfect for those wishing to explore a wider selection of shops, boutiques, bars and a lively waterfront. One of the island's most treasured beaches, Aviathos Beach (1.6km) is a five minute drive from the villa. Here soft sands meet clear turquoise waters, ideal for swimming, paddling, and lazy afternoons. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to hire as well as a handful of charming beach bars for refreshments with a view. If you are lucky, a Loggerhead turtle may even make an appearance!
