Welcome to our home in Polystylon. Our village holds a special place in history, founded by refugees from Constantinople, Thrace and Cappadocia, who brought with them a heritage of culture, resilience and the holy relics of the glorious holy Five Martyrs. Just 10 kilometers away is the city of Kavala. The blue city impresses with its spacious beaches in and outside the city, daily ferry services to the island of Thassos, as well as a rich history and historical museums, and a castle with spectacular views of the city and the surrounding area. While the house offers a peaceful inland escape, this short drive to the south allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds: the charm of a historic village and the energy of the coast. Whether you are here to explore the martial history of the region or simply find a quiet base for your travels, we are here to ensure your stay is wonderful. The house is 170m² of living space, consisting of a bedroom, a children's room with a double bed, a living room, a dining room with sofa bed, a kitchen and a large bathroom.

Polystylo is a peaceful, traditional village in the Kavala region. Its name—meaning "Many Columns"—is a tribute to the ancient marble columns discovered when the village was first founded. Today, these beautiful remnants of the past are preserved in the courtyard of our village church, which is one of the most stunning in the area. The heart of the village features a charming square with a lush garden and a gazebo, right next to our local market. Here, life moves at a gentle pace; neighbors grow their own fruits and vegetables, and if you are looking for authentic, homemade Greek olive oil, we would be delighted to help you find some. Nearby, you can visit the world-renowned Archaeological Site of Philippi and the sacred spot where the Apostle Paul baptized St. Lydia, the first Christian woman in Europe, marking the very beginning of the Christian tradition on the continent. On your way to the vibrant city of Kavala, you will pass through Amygdaleonas, a lively hub where you can find major stores like Jumbo and Discount Markt, alongside charming cafeterias, traditional bakeries, and taverns.
