Roots of Love My grandfather was born in a mountainous village in Ancient Olympia, on the border with Arcadia. My father grew up in Athens, where he fell in love with my mother, Martha. They had five daughters. I am the third one. I was born and raised in a seaside suburb of Athens. The Romantic Gaze Since I was little, I observed the world — faces, couples, their eyes and emotions. People often entrusted me with their secrets: love, betrayal, death, rebirth. When I see a couple walking hand in hand, I feel I'm witnessing a painting come to life.
