Freesia House is situated in a quiet, picturesque area, with houses scattered on a gentle hill, descending to the sea. The exterior and interior decor are simple, light, clutter-free, designed to inspire a cozy, familiar feeling of being at home, away from home. The house features a large, open living space, with a fully equipped kitchen and inviting dining table, and living room area with a large, comfortable sofa and a fully functional fireplace. All windows and terrace doors are provided with wooden shutters, so the guests can adjust the lighting to their taste. All the terraces have sea view and invite you to relax, enjoy a meal or chat with your friends and loved ones; any time during the day, at least one of the terraces offers natural shade. Our garden has a variety of plants and a small orchard, with lemon trees, orange trees and a glorious pomegranate tree. The barbecue area also features a pizza oven. The property is the perfect hide-away, but with all the commercial, culinary and entertainment facilities only a short drive away.

By welcoming you in our home we are sharing our dream with you, a dream of a place where one can enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and tranquil vacation at the seaside, far away from the busy atmosphere of crowded vacation destinations. If you enjoy long hours at the beach, the coastline from Kilada all the way to Agios Aemilianos offers numerous wild beaches where you have the chance to be alone or almost alone even in peak season, but also organized beaches with tavernas, beach bars, sunbeds and umbrellas. The sea is crystal clear so it is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We kindly advice you to explore, first hand or using maps, and try various beaches. The trip to and from them will allow you to marvel at the gorgeous Ermionida landscapes. If you enjoy a diverse vacation or you simply feel like taking a break from sun-bathing, here are a few a ideas: You can rent an ATV, a scooter or a bike and drive around to take in the lovely scenery of the area; You can take an afternoon or evening stroll on the promenade of Cape Akti Mitseon in Ermioni, followed by a lovely dinner at one of the restaurants on both shores and maybe spend some time at a club or a beach bar afterwards. The promenade of Cape Akti Mitseon can be an traction also day-time, when one can climb down its rocky shores for a swim or for snorkeling; Rent a boat and sail for a few hours or for the day, with stops on lovely, secluded beaches. For the smaller boats you don’t need a driver’s license. It would give us great pleasure to receive feed-back and impressions on your Ermionida experiences.

If you would like to spice up your vacation with various activities, there is plenty to do in the area. The quaint seaside towns of Ermioni, Porto Cheli and Kilada offer an abundance of stores (including souvenir stores), restaurants and bars that stay open until late at night. Kranidi is the capital town of Ermionida. There you can find various stores, but also any kind of service that you require. They are well documented on the internet. Every Thursday morning in the Ermioni Harbour there is a large, open market that we highly recommend. There you can find fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, spices and other local products. You can take a boat from Ermioni harbour and spend a day on Hydra Island – a real jewel of Greece, or take a boat from Porto Cheli and spend some time on Spetses Island. Only 30 km away there is the famous, antique amphitheater at Epidavros (Epidaurus), with it’s phenomenal architecture and acoustics. While in Epidavros, you can choose to also do some snorkeling to see The Sunken City. Lila’s olive orchard and honey farm near Kilada offers a sunset stroll through secular olive trees and a taste of local, natural products. If you are up for an easy hike, choose the Dolines of Didima and the lovely churches built beneath them. You will be only 70 km away from the town of Nafplio, the first capital of Greece, with enough activities to cover a whole day, and 200 km away from legendary Athens.
