Happinest is… A charming cabin for two with beguiling views. Built between ancient olive trees, overlooking the sea. You’ll sleep to the sound of rustling leaves and owls hooting. Wake up to a vision of shimmering waters then wander through a magical Mediterranean garden and dive straight into the sea. We're located right on the water, in undiscovered Pelion, 5km along the coast from the seaside village of Millina. We're HAPPINEST TREEHOUSE, look us up for more news and information :-) Our treehouse is an utterly unique holiday escape for sea and nature lovers. Step straight in. This bit of heaven needs no staircase. Yet the other end of the cabin is high off the ground, in the canopies. Magic? Undoubtedly, LOL. Inside, a comfy Queen bed is positioned in front of huge sliding doors. Once again, those views… The entire cabin is fully screened, so no annoying bugs to swat. Sleep deeply, cooled by the sea breeze. Guests get the whole treehouse. The shaded and breezy underside has a kitchenette, table and chairs. The bathroom is a small building 20 steps along a path, lit by automatic lamps. The adjacent outdoor shower has a live bamboo screen and hot water. There is another shower with hot water right on the deck of the treehouse. The main residence is 30m away, barely visible through the trees. You'll be welcomed by two friendly dogs and four playful cats who live with us.

We’re Vito and Vida, originally from Italy and Singapore. 20 years ago, we sold up and moved from Madrid, Spain to this remote corner of Greece in search of our private paradise. And we found it :-) We love good food, good wine and great company. We’re enthusiastic cooks and we even make our own wine. Our huge outdoor dining table is testament to our passions, LOL. In Madrid we were special costumes and prop makers for movies, theatre and TV and we’ve built and decorated our house and garden with joy and love. Vito is a sculptor and builder and our quirky, wonderful garden is full of surprises… Hosting is an adventure for us and we enjoy connecting with different people. We’ve traveled extensively and our experience has taught us that having a great place to stay and meeting welcoming people makes or breaks a holiday. We speak four languages, for the rest, we can gesticulate wildly. We’re happy to share stories or give you privacy. We’d just like to make your stay a memorable one!

You can swim in the bay where our property is located or take a short walk along the sea to a large sandy beach nearby. Other properties on the bay are holiday rentals, however, it is large enough not to feel overcrowded. Our swimming platform is small but private and separate from the beach where the other houses are. They are not visible from the treehouse as it looks outwards towards the sea. Other beaches with full amenities like Marathias Bay or lonely planet pebbled coves with only goats for company are only a few minutes’ drive away. Explore the secluded coast with a boat, including uninhabited Alatas island right across the waters and nearby Prassouda, both with ancient monasteries and crystal waters. Check out One Tree island, immersed in a sea of yellow coral and silver fish. For meals, head to the nearby coastal village of Milina with its many excellent tavernas. Cafes, mini markets and an excellent bakery in Milina will all help make your stay enjoyable. All urban amenities can be found at the Port city of Volos just an hour away. It is also famous for its many tsipouradika, traditional taverns offering a bevy of Greek tapas called mezes.
