THE CASTLE OF KASSIOPI In 1084, the fortress fell into the hands of Alexios I Komnenos, after the latter defeated the Norman fleet, after three naval battles, in the Straits of Corfu. In 1267, the Andeans captured the castle, while in 1386, the castle fell to the Venetians after a short resistance.LIMANI APTS΄ is located below the castle of Kassiopi, and a 3-minute walk from the beach. Kanoni, Battery, Pipitou. Provides air-conditioned rooms, and balcony overlooking the Ionian All rooms at LIMANI APTS΄ are decorated in a traditional style, with soft colors.
