LIMNI eco-agro-tourism, it’s natural accommodation, two ecolodges, recently opened for seasonal rental, for holidays but also à la carte courses, seminars and workshops, in the heart of an old olive grove, on the heights of Ammoudara beach in Crete. LIMNI is also natural local products, an invitation to discover the Cretan diet, local producers, Cretan nature and its treasures throughout the seasons. LIMNI is open all year long, because, at any moment, Crete is worth to be visited.

Limni offers quality accommodation that combines ecology, comfort and tradition with two ecological ecolodge recently built in earth and straw on a wooden frame. Each ecolodge is self-sufficient and fully equipped, located in an old restored olive grove above Ammoudara beach, 150 meters above sea level and 1,5km from the sea. Free parking, private garden, quality COCOMAT bedding, view of the sea and the small town of Agios Nikolaos, located 7km from the site. Access by car. Note that in the downstairs bedroom the bedding is 2 single beds or 1 large double one, and that in the living room the two sofas are proper single beds. The bathroom is equipped with an Italian shower and luxury dry toilets. Electricity is provided by solar panels and a small wind turbine. Tap water is drinkable and water is heated by a solar heater, supported by a gas water heater during the winter. The closest airport is Heraklion, at 60 km. Our accomodation has been certified by Accueil Paysan, Ecotourisme Greece and Travel Life.

7km from Agios Nikolaos, Limni overlooks the beach of Ammoudara. The site is populated by olive and carob trees as well as wild species and many fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. It is reached from the beach by a 1.5 km uphill road that is sometimes asphalted, sometimes concrete and is a dirt road in some sections. As the seasons go by, a whole series of activities are possible, “à la carte”, such as a guided tour of the premises and participation in the site's seasonal activities. Activities in the surroundings: hikes and discoveries on foot, by bike, by motorbike, between the sea and mountains, visits of archaeological sites, old villages, local farmers, underwater exploring, etc...
