Louisa's View is a relatively easy walk by Hydra standards. When you arrive on Hydra you can choose whether to walk the coast road from town into Kamini Harbor following the mules that we will arrange for your luggage, or you can take a 5 minute water taxi to the harbour. The church bell tower that you can see from the front door, only rings once a year on the little church's name day so you can be assured of peace and quiet. However, bring your sketch pad because it's a great picture if you feel creative! The nearest beach is Kamini with the popular restaurant Castello beside it. You will be able to see from the location map that the beach is only about 200m from the apartment. Close by you can book a table at the Pirofani (inland), Christina's, Pefkaki or the popular with sunset worshippers, Kodylenia Taverna (which you can see from the logia balcony at Louisa's View!). All of them are within a 5 minute walk. Four Corners Market is also about a 5 minute walk. Located on the gentle hill overlooking Kamini Harbour. Stroll the picturesque path along the sea or take a water taxi to the charming and peaceful fishing village of Kamini, a traditional neighborhood in Hydra, where Louisa's View is located. Once settled in your island escape at Louisa’s View apartment, take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the traditional tavernas and restaurants, Kamini Beach, Four Corners Market, and the playground for children to enjoy. Make your way up higher on the hill to find the upper pathway where you will be mesmerized by the quiet rural lifestyle. The sound of braying donkeys, farm animals, birds will calm the soul.
