Set in Anavrití, Apostolia’s Small House is an ideal retreat from the hectic city life with all the amenities and comfort available. Our house is a restored family tannery built in 1800s. A complete renovation was just completed on 2018. It can house 2 guests with an option of 2 more. Master bedroom is available with on suite fireplace and balcony. A fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine) is available. There is also a toaster, fridge and a coffee machine. Summertime is ideal for hiking, barbecue by the patio and cycling (bicycles included for free). In the winter you can relax by the fireplace in the living room, enjoy the untouched alpine landscape full of pine trees, and taste the traditional cousine offered in the tavern. A telescope is included with the house, as birdwatching and stargazing conditions are ideal. Free WiFi is offered throughout the premises. The mountain views, fresh snow cold water from the nearby fountains and a variety of hiking trails complete this unique experience.
Anavriti used to be a major village in the 1900s. Economy was based on argiculture, textiles and leather. After the major conflicts of the mid century most of the population immigrated to Sparti and United states. We are part of the new generation that tries to restore our beatiful village while respecting its past. Nowdays people can enjoy the unspoiled nature, hike in the many trails, and visit the numerous churches, the folks museum and the nearby monastery. The medieval castle of mystras is 20 min driving distance. Sparti with its glorius classical past about 30 min. Gytheio and mani 40-45 min. Our village is afordable , quiet and able to offer the guest an unforgetable experience
