Ideally located in the magnificent beach precinct of Kalamata, this newly constructed apartment combines luxury and comfrort. Modern yet traditional, the apartment will complete the ultimate holiday in this superb newest of popular destinations. Catering to a variety of holiday preferences, during the summer months enjoy the beautifual beaches and the fantastic cafes and bars or during the winter relax in front of the fireplace, take in the exquisite mountain view and relish the lifestyle in the town centre. Nearby are many awe inspiring ancient sites which can be experienced all year round. Explore the greater region of Messinia, the many lovely villages, mountain trails, river trails, waterfalls and many other activities. Or simply just relax and enjoy the wonderful weather. With friendly tips, we aim to provide you with a wonderful holdiay experience and one which you will definitely want to repeat.
I am a Greek Australian residing in Kalamata. I am married with four children and as a family we enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities. From bike riding, to sailing, to rock climbing, skiing and more, Kalamata offers a fantastic lifestyle at our doorstep. We enjoy meeting new people and it would be our pleasure to host you and share our knowledge of the area by proviing you with a wonderful holiday experience.
Our house is situated within walking distance of the beatiful beaches, cafes and beach bars of Kalamata (Navarino Street). Also within walking distance are ammenities, such as a mini-market, grocery shop and restuarants. A short distance away ther are supermarkets and the town centre. These can be easily accessed by bus (bus stop located on Navarino Street) and taxis are prompt and cheap (usually around 3.50-5 euro to town centre). Bike tracks connect the beach precinct with the town centre and bike rentals can be arranged, as can car hire. Directly across from the house is Kalamata's sports stadium, which is open everyday from 7.30-22.00 (summer hours) and provides running track, skateboard ramps, basketball courts and outdoor exercise eqiupment, all free of charge. While close to all the popular attractions of Kalamata, the surrounding neighbourhood is suprisingly quiet and free of the hustle and bustle of Navariono Street.
