The challenges of the 2020 pandemic underscored the importance of escaping urban environments and returning to rural, secure locations with ample space. Chris and his wife chose to embark on a retreat to Mathraki, where they own a residence. During their six-month stay, they discovered that Mathraki is a paradise for sea lovers, naturalists, and provides an ideal hilly setting for intensive training in endurance, gymnastics, and Olympic weightlifting. Inspired by their experience, they established Nisaki Mathraki—an experiential vacation focused on well-being, health, activity, nature, and exceptional cuisine. Chris's wife is passionate about athletics, cooking, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is certified to train others and actively competes.
