This romantic residence has its own history. The home is located in the middle of the island, and is a short distance in all directions to visit all the wonderful experiences on Santorini. After an eventful day, it is nice to be able to retreat from tourists and enjoy the evening on the property which is shielded from view, and to be able to feel privacy which is still only 90m from the main road with all connections and bus stops. The property has a great outdoor kitchen with grill, dishwasher and fridge. So everything is ready for those who want to cook the perfect dinner at home after a busy day. Outdoor Jacuzzi has heated water. Jacuzzi has heated water from 15 April to 15 September. There are also advanced water filters for water dispensers with ice cubes, so that there is no need to buy water. Guest access The entire property is disposed of by the tenant. The one bedroom with bathroom has a door from the living room, and its own entrance from the outside, so it is private if 2 couples want privacy. This small picturesque village of Vothonas is located in the center of the island of Fira, very close to the village of Messaria. Vothonas is built in a steep gorge and it catches the eye for its unique, special architecture. The majority of the dwellings are cave houses the villagers built by carving out volcanic rocks. Together with the natural beauty, they form a settlement that you can enjoy by wandering through the charming, narrow alleys. A sense of tranquility and privacy pervades the entire village, and you can become part of it by staying in the Otto house cave house. There are several churches and chapels in Vothonas that are worth visiting due to their distinctive architecture and location. At the most beautiful entrance to the village you will find the church of Agios Roussos, built of pumice stone on a rock. Also famous church is Agia Anna, the oldest church in the village (built in 1827), which owns a beautiful pebble courtyard. Just outside the village is the exceptional church of Panagia Sergena which is carved into a large volcanic rock and used to be a shelter in the past. Vothonas is unique because of the location they choose to build it. Inside a canyon, where safety and peace reign. With cave houses scattered through the mountain, a visual maze of interest and charm creates. Although there are good bus connections on Santorini, renting a car is the best way to explore all the wonderful places on the island.
