Our home is located in Kalavarda village, a small coastal holiday village of 500 habitants. Our home is composed of 2 appartements with separate entrance. It has a marvellous view and is located on a hill with a view to the village and the sea. The house, although it is very close to the centre of th village, is isolated and perfect for relaxing . During your stay we can provide you with all the nessesary informations you need, help you with transportation for shopping if you do not have a car and provide you our 3 bikes. I We live downstairs and you can ask for help anytime.

We are Yiola, Panagiotis, our daughter Joanna and our dog Stan. We have been living in Kalavarda for the last 14 years, since we built our house. We are teachers, Yiola in Primary School of Kalavarda and Panagiotis in High School of Soroni. We love the every day life in the village, because of its humanity and quiteness. We swim, bike, hike very often and exploring the island in a different way. We love to be with friends on weekends, watch movies and driving to the towh of Rhodes when an interesting events (theater, concert etc) takes place, or just to see friends. Although we are begginers in hosting guests, we believe we are going to have a friedly reletionship with our guests.

Kalavarda is a small village, 30 km from the town of Rhodes and 15 km from the airport. The seaside is 10 minutes walking from the house. If you are a kite lover you can find an organised base for this sport. In the village you can find many restaurants, a small minimarket and a cafe-bar. Tourists choose our village for its tranquility, nature and the combination of the sea and mountain walking. There are many interesting walks around Kalavarda and the nearby villages for the lovers of hiking. In five minutes driving, you reache ancient Kamiros, one of the three ancient towns of Rhodes and very important archeological site. In this area you can find many restaurants with organised beaches.We live in a quite neighboorhood, detached from the village but very close to it. you can get to the village square in 5 minutes and it is 10 minutes walking to the beach. In our area there are only two houses. At night, when you enjoy your drink on the balcony the only faded sounds you can only here is from the children playing in the square,the dogs barking and in totally quiteness, you can sometimes hear the engines of the ships travelling when you daze their ligths from the distance.
