It is simply furnished and equipped in a local style, consisting of different apartment types, all with FREE airconditioning in each room, FREE WIFI throughout, FREE parking area and FREE baby cot and high chair if required. The maisonette-type apartments consist of: an open plan ground or first level sitting room with couches that can become beds, equipped kitchen for a light meal, with 2 electric rings and all the kitchen essentials, shower/WC and garden terrace, or balcony. On the other level which is accessible via an internal stairs there is a double or a twin (2 single beds) bedroom and a shower/WC. The two-bedroom apartments consist of 2 separate bedrooms with 2 single beds each, a Kitchenette equipped for a light meal with 2 electric rings and all the kitchen essentials, WC with a shower and two balconies with different views. The open plan studios consist of two singles or one large bed, a kitchen corner equipped for a light lunch, with 2 electric rings and all the kitchen essentials, a WC with shower and balcony or terrace. Ipsos and Pyrgi have come to be regarded as the “Golden Mile”. The long curving bay is bordered with a narrow, shingle and sand beach and hosts an excellent assortment of water sports as well as a marina for small boats. The resort facilities line the road along the beach so everything you need is literally a stone’s throw away. The main road is lined with shops, bars, modern discos and restaurants serving every kind of cuisine imaginable, from good old British grub, traditional Greek dishes and oriental delicacies. The land surrounding the two resorts is mainly agricultural, with barren cliffs rising steeply, terminating at Corfu’s highest peak, Mount Pantokrator. The beach is mixed shingle with patches of sand, with plenty of sunbeds for hire along with umbrellas. It is a blue flag beach and has showers and changing facilities on the beach. Ipsos beach is child friendly. The water shelves off gradually and is clean and clear. The road is just above the beach though and it is clean and tidy. There is a regular boat taxi to the nearby exelent pebble -shingle Barbati beach, Guest access the garden and the patio with the dining tables. these facilities are shared.
