As a former marine engineer in the merchant navy and now a renewable energy engineer developing photovoltaic parks across Europe, my life has always been connected to exploration and creation. Yet, my heart truly belongs to my homeland – to the mountains of Pindus where I grew up and learned to love nature from an early age. Nature is my element; I enjoy the tranquility of hiking trails, the magic of mountaineering routes, the adrenaline of winter sports, as well as the simplicity of an overnight stay under a starry sky. In my free time, I dedicate myself to woodworking, woodcarving, and gardening, finding joy in caring for the land, in creativity, and in craftsmanship. My love for this place and my desire to share its beauty and uniqueness with others inspired me to engage in tourism and create an accommodation that offers not only luxury, but also authentic experiences. The stone-built village of Spilaio, along with the other traditional villages with their narrow cobblestone alleys and welcoming courtyards, seem to have sprung from another era, inviting visitors to lose themselves in their timeless beauty. When night falls, the sky transforms into an endless theater of stars; at the under-construction Educational Astronomy Park of Orliakas, as well as at other stargazing points, one can enjoy the unforgettable experience of connecting with the universe. In winter, the National Ski Resort of Vasilitsa offers opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and other snow activities, completing the mosaic of experiences this land has to offer.
