Tkon is a typical fishing village and port, and it is also called the "gate of Kornati". It is located on the southeastern part of the island Pašman, and the municipality also occupies the area of ​​13 nearby islets. The most important activity of Tkon is the fishing of clams (kunjke) in the Pašman channel, which got its name from Kun, which is the local name for Tkon.
