Neighbourhood information
In the Istria county, in the municipality of Marčana, there is a small village called Rakalj. Former Stari Rakalj is now uninhabited and is located closer to the sea. There are also the ruins of the former castle and the church of St. Agnes. From the mentioned castle one of the most beautiful views of the Raška bay can be seen. Below Rakalj there is a promenade named after the famous Croatian artist and cellist Stjepan Hauser.
