Villa Ida & Mirko is located in the village of Krkuž near Buzet. If you would like to explore the interior of Istria while staying in the villa, there are numerous opportunities within easy reach. The closest is Buzet, a medieval Istrian town that invites you to stroll through its old streets. About the same distance is Hum, which is considered to be one of the smallest towns in the world. If you are looking for an active vacation, on the outskirts of Buzet begins one of the most famous hiking trails in Istria, the Trail of Seven Waterfalls. It is a circular path where you can enjoy the beautiful nature, but you should keep in mind that the path is demanding and may be too difficult for less experienced hikers.
