Hi, I am Marta and with my family I live in Dubrovnik. We spend summers on Mljet hosting our guests and enjoying beautiful nature. Originally we are from the Island of Mljet so we know a lot about the island and how to enjoy it. I have nine years old daughter Lea and five years old son Lovro. We are young and friendly people. Our main concern is happiness of our guests.

Our house is situated in the middle of the village of Goveđari and it allows you to enjoy your vacation in peaceful surroundings without usual summer crowds. In the village of Goveđari there is no shops or restaurants so we will provide maps for all location you might need during your stay. We have grocery shops and restaurants in Polače, Pomena and Babino Polje. During the high season shops are open till 21.00 o'clock. You can find all common ingredients there. As the house is in the NP Mljet, the oldest marine protected area in the Mediterranean , you are obligated to buy tickets to the Park. Please be sure to note to the parks personal that you are staying for several days so the ticket will be valid throughout your stay. The closest point for buying the tickets is at parking place Vrbovica. It can be reached in 2 minutes ride by car or 5 minutes walking. You can rent the bikes from there if you want to cycle along 12 km flat road along the Big Lake or you can go to Pristanište on foot and take a boat ride to visit St Mary’s Island. During the summer you can take electric train ride from Vrbovica along the Big Lake.
