Pobri - a quiet neighborhood between Matulji (1.5 km) and Opatija (2.5 km) - is located on the hill above the charming harbour of Volosko, where the 12 km long coastal promenade Lungomare (The Franz Joseph I Promenade) begins, which connects all the places on the coast of the Opatija Riviera: Volosko, Opatija, Ičići, Ika and Lovran. The road distance from the property to the sea and nearby beaches is 5-10 minutes by car. There's a walking route to the sea, but only if you're in excellent shape for uphill climbs! Opatija's hinterland hides gastronomic pearls, as this residental area is rich in restaurants, taverns and other facilities that offer an authentic culinary experience and specialties based on local ingredients. Recreationalists and nature lovers will be attracted by one of the entrances to the Carmen Sylva forest promenade at the beginning of the Pobri settlement, while adventurers could explore numerous hiking trails within the Učka Nature Park and the Poklon Visitor Centre (cca 20-minute drive from the property).
