Located amid the Croatian Riviera, Villa Avantgarde is in the village of Mlini, 7 km from medieval Dubrovnik and 8 km from the airport. The Villa provides free Wi-Fi and a small pool surrounded by pine trees and offering sea views. Boat excursions to nearby islands can be arranged. A bus that takes guests to Dubrovnik passes every 30 minutes. The beach as well as several restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walking distance from Villa Avantgarde. A bakery, a supermarket and an ATM are only 200 metres away. The Villa Avantgarde also provides BBQ facilities and massage treatments on request at the pool area. Guests can enjoy the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

The Villa Avantgarde has been established in 2014 with a focus on providing accommodation to guests exploring the Dubrovnik Riviera and the visiting the Old town of Dubrovnik. Meanwhile, our Mlini area got more attention from the visitors because of unique settings of the beach area, walking promenade and sea-view sights that bring people to this authentic area, not so globally known as the Dubrovnik Old town. Having both of these possibilities, the villa has been a very popular place, mostly booked between June and September, but open from April to November.

Villa Avantgarde is a privately owned property designed to make all guests welcome, relaxed and comfortable during their stay on the wonderful Dubrovnik Riviera. We have daily housekeeping, free parking and internet, an outdoor pool, beach access just opposite the street in front and buses going to Dubrovnik every half hour. The main reason for booking our villa is that we provide breakfast for all of our guests. In 2021 we are offering free in-room breakfast service, brought to your room at any time during the morning, all included in the rate. Sounds like a good start, of your vacation!

Mlini has a sweet little harbor, fish restaurants and cocktail bars, ideal if you want a nice meal and a couple of drinks overlooking the sea without the hustle and bustle of the bigger resorts. It’s about a 5 minute walk downhill from the villa and uphill coming back but well worth it. From Mlini you can get the boat to Dubrovnik. It’s the best way to come into Dubrovnik Old City and if you get the direct boat it takes about 20 minutes along the coast. There are various boat excursions you can go on and all of these can be booked from Mlini, Cavtat or Dubrovnik. There are a couple of small supermarkets about 200 meters from the villa which is very handy for quick shopping while the big supermarket is about a 10 min walk away.
