Deeply relax at this quiet island getaway by the gorgeous, calm, blue Adriatic sea. Krk is the largest Croatian island & the closest to Italy for a great combination trip (just a 3-hour drive to Venice). Sun, swim, sleep and escape. Linardići is near the ferry so it's easy to take your car on the ferry to explore other islands.

My favorite things in the world are swimming in the clear blue Adriatic sea, getting deeply warm in the sun, going to the local fisherman for fresh tuna, enjoying my cousin's homemade olive oil, wine, brandy and cheeses with figs picked from local trees. This home is my paradise. It is where I feel healthiest and happiest. I am glad to share it with you when I am home in California. Linardići is a small village with spectacular views. Within 10 minutes is the City of Krk, the largest City on the island with many restaurants, cafes and other amenities, as well as a 900 year-old castle and lovely old town and waterfront. There are many beaches in the area; the closest is a 5 minute drive (no traffic, ample parking) or a 20 minute walk. Krk is the largest and northernmost island on the Dalmatian Coast with easy access to the rest of Europe. The house is 25 minutes from the Krk bridge and 20 minutes from Rijeka airport (RJK). It is also 10 minutes from the Valbiska car ferry, allowing you to easily explore the islands of Cres and Mali Losinj.
