The Lottóház: After the revolution and the wars, many buildings in Budapest were damaged and became uninhabitable. The state had "lottery houses" built on the site of unusable buildings, thus creating jobs, encouraging people to play lotteries - which earned them income - and then providing the lucky ones with the opportunity to get apartments in several districts of the city. The Baross tér lottery house was built in 1963, 6 floors high, with a sunny south orientation, with "ultra-modern" apartments according to the standards of the time. The construction was carried out with the design of renowned architects and materials that were considered premium in those years. It reflects the "modern" socialist realist style of the time, with Bauhaus elements. The apartment: In 2024, we created almost everything from our own hard work, we built this apartment after demolition down to the bricks, which is why it is especially close to our hearts. The complete renovation took almost 1 year of our time, while others rested, we were still working here.. we put everything in to give you the maximum that is possible from us. The property also has safe new plumbing, a new electrical system, new furniture, and air conditioning. 2 king beds and a 2-person pull-out sofa, bathroom with shower and separate toilet are available to our guests in this separate apartment. 1 metro stop or 10 minute walk to the Pap László Sports Arena, the Puskás Arena and the BOK Hall. The metro station is near the apartment. Budapest's most popular mall - Arena -, Városliget, ZOO, Gundel, New York Café, museums, stadiums, Nemzeti Lovarda ( horse riding ), pedestrian streets etc. around this area.

We are a married couple who, based on their travels and experience in hospitality, decided to try the short-term accommodation service. We are in downtown Budapest, next to Keleti railway station. This is one of the busiest area, and because of this, it is also outstanding in terms of public transport. With metro / subway, train, bus, trolley bus, taxi, rental scooter hubs, plenty of downtown entertainment options. Budapest's most popular - Aréna - plaza, Városliget, Keleti railway station, New York Cafe, museums, stadiums, pedestrian streets are within walking distance. 1 metro stop or 10 minute walk to the Pap László Sports Arena, the Puskás Arena and the BOK Hall, and 5 minute walk to Nemzeti Lovarda ( Tattersall, stable, horse, riding hall, competitions). The metro station is near the apartment. Széchenyi thermal bath, Rudas thermal bath easily accessible. The location is also easily accessible for sporting events, concerts, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Heroes' Square, Zoo, City park, Fiumei Road Cemetery and many more.. The whole city is bustling and busy during the most popular festival in Hungary, come and spend the Sziget festival with us. It can be reached with one transfer by metro line 2 + tram line 5 ( total 40 minutes travel by public transport.). Paid parking garage opposite the building.
