In 2024, we opened our holiday houses in the village of Szakcs, 60 km south of Siófok, in the heart of the Transdanubian Hills. If you want to experience the Hungarian countryside, discover rural life, and enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay, be sure to visit us. On our 20,000 m² estate, covered with ancient trees and shrubs, you will find only a few modernly furnished holiday houses, as well as a 100-year-old renovated farmhouse (Árpád House), ensuring that the natural vegetation remains intact. Your pets will also feel at home here and are welcome inside the houses for an additional fee of 2,000 HUF per night. Important information: Reservations and invoicing are handled centrally online through our hotel in Siófok. Therefore, Janus Country Site Árpád House can only be booked and paid for in advance. Guests are also required to submit their personal documents in advance via an application, which we forward to the VIZA system in compliance with legal regulations. Upon arrival, guests can check in independently using their personal access code to enter the apartment.

This makes it an interesting option to combine a few days at the four-star wellness hotel with a stay close to nature here. This way, we offer our guests a completely different style of holiday experience as well.

Our Janus Country Site Árpád House holiday home is located in the small village of Szakcs, nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Transdanubian Hills. The tiny settlement is surrounded by forests, meadows, and fishing lakes. To the north, it is bordered by the forested slopes of the Koppány Valley, while to the south, the distant Mecsek Mountains can be seen. Within a 30-minute drive (30 km), guests can find three well-known and excellent thermal baths that are open all year round: Igal Thermal Bath, Tamási Thermal SPA, and Dombóvár Gunaras Bath.
