Downtown Hotel Visegrád, overlooking the Danube River, offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and balconies. It features an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tubs with direct Danube views. The hotel has leisure activities including tennis, medieval tournaments and royal feasts. All of the air-conditioned rooms come with cable TV and a minibar. The superior rooms have been refurbished in November 2011 and feature balconies with either Danube or Visegrad Castle views. The Siraly Restaurant serves traditional Hungarian cuisine prepared with local produce. Guests can enjoy their meal inside or on the terrace which has views of the Danube. The King Matthias Museum and the Royal Palace are located 600 metres from the hotel. Solomon Tower is just under 20 minutes’ walk away. The centre of Budapest is 55 minutes’ drive from Visegrád.
