Things to consider before booking: A house this open and immersed in nature will have visitors from nature; bugs, spiders, mosquitos and the occasional mouse or frog. We keep it as clean as possible and the breeze keeps most of the mosquitos at bay. • the AC will not effectively cool down the whole house but will keep the mezzanine upstairs cool for sleeping. Please be mindful with the energy consumption and always turn off the AC when you leave. • There are occasionally dogs or cats visiting the property. • The wifi is a pocket wifi meaning it runs on data that needs to be topped up regularly. I continuously do this but sometimes more data is used than I anticipate and it then runs out early. If this happens you just need to tell me and I will top it up. I am just clarifying that this means there can be unexpected interruptions in the wifi service. If you have important calls or meetings I advice you to reach out before hand and I can check to make sure data wont run out. • Regular Bali village life occurs around the area with occasional music or announcements from surrounding temples, rice farmers working the fields and families going to the beach on Sundays. • The rice fields go through their normal harvesting cycles and therefore do not always look as pictured • The space is about a 30 min drive away from shops and any greater selection of restaurants, SPAs etc. If you are not comfortable driving a bike you will need a driver to visit any tourist sites or to get out of the immediate area. Great surf is however accessible by walking down to the beach. There are a few options for surf breaks. Reach out to me if you want a more thorough guide. • The closest surf board rental is at Kedungu Beach which is about 20 minute walk down the beach or a 5 minute drive.

Step into the timeless Indonesian Lumbung house—a wooden sanctuary with a classic grass roof. On the mezzanine floor you find the king-size bed and panoramic rice field views. You have a spacious indoor and outdoor living room and a bright semi-outdoor bathroom. The house sleeps 2 but can accommodate a third on the couch downstairs. Storage galore available. Tranquility meets luxury. The Lumbung is a rejuvenating and relaxing experience. This house was designed for me to have a calm and effortless life with lot's of time outdoors surrounded by nature. With a large front porch, open style bathroom and the bath tub set at the edge of the property surrounded by garden. We strive to make every guest feel comfortable and at home while staying here. This being said this is a very unique space and its design and available amenities doesn't always suit everyone. I would like to encourage you to thoroughly read the description and check what amenities are available to you during your stay. Enjoy a bedroom with extensive views of the rice fields behind, stretching all the way to the ocean. You’ll have a fully private living room with a large couch and lots of space. You essentially have two living rooms one inside for rainy days and one outside for most of the Bali days. You’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen that is shared with the other two units on the property. You are free to use it yourself all I ask is that you work with the staff to share the space as they also use it a lot. The bedroom is equipped with an AC. Please still be mindful of the energy expense as we aim to create a low impact and natural space. Always turn off the AC as you leave the room. We also provide all natural soaps and shampoo.
