Hello, my name is Dika. I am born and raised in Medewi West Bali and I feel very fortunate to have a life surrounded by waves, mountains, family and friends. I have more than seven years of experience working as a surf guide, surf instructor in several surf camps in Bali and six years working as Event Specialist for Red Bull Indonesia. Let me you show the beauty of West Bali.
The word "makai" originates from Hawaiian and translates to "towards the sea" or "seaward." Makai Medewi is a cozy, private beach bungalow, nestled in a lush, emerald-green rice paddy that faces the black lava sand beaches of Sumbul and Medewi; both of which are renowned for their dreamy surf conditions. There exists a playful magic that is in abundance where the land meets the ocean here. We invite you to experience this magic and stay with us by the sea.
