A unique semi-luxury safari-style canvas tent on a large wooden deck towering above the plantation, with spectacular views over the Balian River valley and surrounding rice fields and plantations. During the pandemic we decided to leave the south of Bali and find ourselves a new place to live, away from the crowds and immerse ourselves in nature and authentic Bali. We fell in love with the area around Pupuan and eventually bought ourselves a little productive plantation in Sanda, a small village on the slopes of Mount Batukaru. We love our new lifestyle; slowly learning to develop and manage the plantation and blending into the local traditional Balinese community. We decided to open our home to those seeking an escape from the crowds, or those who want to experience authentic rural Bali. We hope to welcome you soon!
The Sanda Plantation Hideaway lies in the middle of plantations and rice fields of the Balian River valley, about 750 meters from the village of Sanda. It can be reached from there by car or motorbike, or a pleasant walk down a traditional two-track concrete plantation road through a spectacular scenery of rice fields and plantations. Sanda is located in the Pupuan district, along Bali’s north-south road leading from Soka Beach to Seririt (and Lovina). It is a 1.5 to 2 hour scenic drive from Bali’s southern tourist hub, Lovina as well as the lakes around Bedugul.
