Pet friendly, fun friendly cottage in a rural setting overlooking one of Ireland's largest Ring Forts. Aisling cottage is a 17th century thatch cottage that still hints of the past whilst plays with the present in the colourful outbuildings and fanciful gardens. The pastoral views, sounds of the birds and peace greets you as soon as you turn off your car engine. Walk the property with Fergal the Great Dane, enjoy the gardens and patio. Your home away from home.
I am a mental health counselor who now trains family pet dogs to do service dog skills for autism, psychiatric conditions and other health challenges. I'm originally from Canada and loving my new life and community here in SE Cork. Hosting offers me the opportunity to meet folk from around the world and make new friends along the way.
While Aisling cottage is rural, there is a country pub 3 km away as well as the vibrant seaside town of Youghal is a 10 minute drive. You will find a blue flag beach, plenty of food options and history that will make for great stories to take home and share.
