Blarney Castle & Gardens: Blarney Castle is only five minutes from our Bed and Breakfast. The castle’s most famous attraction is the Blarney Stone where you can queue up to kiss the stone at the top of the castle tower. Visitors can explore the castle ruins including its dungeon with vast underground passages and chambers. A stroll through the gardens cannot be missed! Cork City: We are located less than 10km from Cork City, a cosmopolitan and vibrant capital. The historical city is built on the River Lee and its centre is spanned by many bridges. The ideal way to gain an insight into the city’s heritage and culture is to take a guided walking tour. Attractions not to be missed are the Old Midelton Distillery, The Titanic Trail and Cork City Gaol, which is a popular heritage centre. Outdoor Leisure Pursuits: Beechwood Lodge is ideally located for enjoying an abundance of outdoor leisure pursuits including many walking trails, fishing, golfing, horse-riding and water-sport activities.
