Situated 15km north of Galway City (just off the N84) and 3km from Lough Corrib our 48sqM apartment is an ideal base to explore Connemara, South Mayo, Galway City, The Wild Atlantic Way plus the wonderful variety of very Local amenities. The area around Headford is abundant with things to see and do. The Yoga Barn (2 mins walk), a family run yoga studio. Our inhouse Music School,, Horse Riding closeby, Local Gyms, Performing Arts School, Lough Corrib Fishing, Kayaking, Corrib Cruises, Art Classes, Knockma Hill and Woods (walking trail), Inchagoill island, Ballycurran Lighthouse, Ross Errilly Friary, a National Monument of Ireland and among the best-preserved medieval monastic sites in the country, Cong Village, a lovely village home to Ashford Castle and lovely craft shops such as Maysonbrook, where you can buy beautiful handmade Irish gifts. All the above are mostly local and no more than 20km away. So whatever you're into there'll be something for you. A Sunny Day can take you further to explore Joyce Country and beautiful Connemara. If you go in the opposite direction you are also 20kms from vibrant, youthful, artistic Galway city and the wonders of the Wild Atlantic Way.
