Being able to walk to this beautiful, family-friendly spot is a major highlight, offering incredible views across Donegal Bay and a perfect place for a walk, swim, or simply watching the sunset. The apartment is an ideal base for exploring the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way. The most popular day trip is to the majestic Slieve League Cliffs, some of Europe's highest sea cliffs. Guests can hike for breathtaking views or take a boat tour from Killybegs. In the nearby town of Killybegs, guests enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Ireland's largest fishing port. They can visit the Maritime and Heritage Centre to learn about the town's history or grab some fresh fish and chips from the Killybegs Seafood Shack right on the pier. For a sit-down meal, Anderson's Boathouse Restaurant is a great choice. Other local gems include the secluded Largy Waterfall, which is best visited at low tide, and the scenic drive through Glengesh Pass on the way to the historic Glencolmcille Folk Village. The beautiful peninsula of St. John's Point with its lighthouse is also a favorite for a scenic walk and is popular with divers due to its clear waters. Overall, the combination of a tranquil, scenic location and close proximity to both natural wonders and charming local towns makes our holiday hideaway a guest favorite.
