In our pod you are independent and can cater for yourself thanks to a small kitchenette. We do everything we can to ensure that you can return to your everyday life relaxed and refreshed from your vacation in West Cork.

We are a couple originally from Switzerland and have been based in Ireland since 2018. We enjoy socialising with people from all over the world, we like to offer our guests the opportunity to take a break from the hectic world out there. Here in the Mealagh Valley you are surrounded by nature, which invites you to go hiking or biking. We are happy to give our guests tips for excursions or what activities are possible in the area. A soothing massage can also be booked here on request.

Our cottage is away from the hustle and bustle and is ideal for long walks along the Sheeps head way and the Beara Way. If you are more adventurous, Clonakilty with its famous beaches and family attractions is a 35-minute drive away. From here you can also easily explore Goughan Barra, Glangariff Nature Reserve, Bambu Park, Bantry House and Waterfall Alpaca Farm. Or if you want to go golfing, we have 2 golf courses (Bantry Bay Golf Club and Glengarriff Golf Club) within 20 kilometres. We also provide bikes for our guests to use at their own risk. The town of Bantry on Bantry Bay is 5 km away with many dining options, we are happy to give our guests information about the various restaurants.
