Situated at the mouth of Lough Foyle, on the east of Inishowen Peninsula, over looking Stroove Lighthouse and it's beaches, with outstanding views of Binevenagh and the Causeway Coast, Grandma's Cottage offers all you need for your stay in the beautiful Inishowen area. Greencastle Village is 5km away were you'll find all amenities including an award winning restaurant, shop, cafés, bars, maritime museum and fishing harbour. The Lough Foyle ferry runs daily in the summer months giving easy access to The Causeway coast.
The Stroove and Greencastle area has so much to offer including great walking trails, an 18 hole golf course and blue flag beach. Inishowen is the largest peninsula in Ireland were you will find Ireland's most northerly point Malin Head, Famine Village, Wild Ireland, Wild Alpaca Way, Grianan of Aileach, Fort Dunree, Sea Adventure Water Park in Moville, The maritime museum in Greencastle and much much more.
