Set in beautiful location on the Wild Atlantic Way we offer a peaceful retreat for visitors to Burtonport, Dungloe & County Donegal, Ireland. This 1 bedroom cottage is for two persons and has 1 double bed, bathroom with shower and kitchenette area with living space. The cottage has a two hob electric cooker, mini electric oven, fridge & kettle. The toilet/bathroom is upstairs in the bedroom area which is accessible by a stairway outside. Do not book here if this is going to be an issue. Our Holiday Cottage is located on the old Burtonport Walkway which is popular with walkers and cyclists. Bathroom & Toilet is located upstairs in bedroom area, which is accessed by stairway outside. Pets are welcome however they are not allowed on the bed, guests are required to bring a dog bed or one can be provided. Our property is basic as you can see from the pictures but ideal for people looking to have a peaceful location, we are not the Hilton and that reflects on our price. The property is not on its own, there is a property nearby which we have uploaded an aerial picture and outside picture. Also for transparency there is CCTV at the property (Outside only), this is for security purposes only.

Carrickfinn Beach Only 10 Minutes drive from our cottage is the beautiful blue flag beach of Carrickfinn, it has an extensive sandy beach with dunes and is close to Annagry Village. The village is a Gaeltacht area where you experience in the cultural and heritage of the region where Irish is still the main everyday language. Keadue Beach is only 5 minute drive from the cottage. Are you interested in golf?, if so get yourself along to cruit island golf club which is just 10 minutes drive from our lovely holiday cottage. Ireland has some fantastic Golf Club’s and especially Donegal, Cruit Island is set on the edge of the wild and rugged Atlantic Ocean. Glenveagh National park has trails allowing you to explore the park as well taking in the views of the Victorian Castle and Gardens along Lough Veagh. Glenveagh Natural Park is approximately 45 minutes drive from our holiday home. Our self catering accommodation is 30 minutes drive from Donegal’s highest mountain, enjoy breath taking views of the coast and surrounding area of Burtonport.
