There an aquasplash in two different villages near by and lots of fishing boating sailing kayaking etc. Access to a swimming beach lake just minutes drive away with a playground and toilets. If hiking and walking is your thing your totally spoiled with several famous routes on your door step The graves of the lenistermen loop walk , The arra mountains ,The Millenium cross and Moylussa bearnagh . On your door step to enjoy is the wonderful lough derg cycle tours. The lovely village of Garrykennedy with is history and lovely harbour sporting two pubs with live music and fantastic food in larkins . Both pubs with sport entertainment in Ciss Ryan's, enjoy a drink with the locals. Larkins pub and restaurant have a fantastic menus, lively food. Hi im catie owner of lakeview apartment. My husband runs the farm at lakeview . We opened our business a year ago and its growing from strength to strength. It hard to explain the magic of the place but to put it simply it uplifting its so beautiful. It set in a gem of a location. I love meeting everybody thats stays here. I try my best to help them in any way i can while staying at lakeview farm. I love music all kinds, I enjoy singing. The social activities that the local village offers bring everybody together especially in the height of the summer when the harbours are full. I loose my self in nature spending lots of time in the garden. Im a real outdoor girl. I love to get out on the lake when time is offered to me .
