The cottage suite which is linked to the adjoining main residence where your host lives. Separate Entrance with free parking. This family friendly cottage sleeps 4 and is suitable for children over 5. The ground floor of Mai’s cottage suite has a new modern fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. There is also a separate, cozy sitting room with a wood burning stove. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with super kingsize bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and blackout blinds. The second bedroom is smaller and has a bunk bed that sleeps 2 and also has blackout blinds. The main bathroom has an electric shower in the bath, wash hand basin and sink. In front of Mai’s cottage there is private parking and a garden area overlooking fields with outdoor seating The essence of the cottage is one of relaxation, it is located in the lush countryside and is surrounded by neighbouring dairy farms and horse breeding farms.

It has been my life’s dream to be the owner of such a unique property in this beautiful setting. I’m happiest when I’m out and about in nature, gardening, walking, sitting with a cuppa and enjoying the view. I value health and well-being and I look forward to sharing this relaxing space with you. This area is about embracing the outdoors whatever the weather. Immerse yourself in nature with many walking, hiking and cycling routes nearby or go mountain biking over 90km of tracks at Ballyhoura Mountain bike track which is 13Km away. Horse trekking in the hills with awesome views at Ballyhoura Horse Trekking Centre near Kilfinane (8Km away). Visit Ireland’s largest standing stone circle at Grange and visit Lough Gur Heritage and Visitor Centre to learn about the myths and stories of this ancient site - 20 minute drive. * Take a day trip to Adare - known as Ireland’s prettiest village dating back to the 12th century. Take in the architecture and pretty thatched cottages, cafes and restaurants along the Main Street - 45 minute drive. * St John's Castle in the medieval quarter of Limerick City is a 35km drive. * Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, The 5 Star Dromoland Castle Hotel and Golf Club and the pretty town of Ennis are all within a 1 hour drive. A little further on is the medieval town of Ennis which is the gateway to Burren Geopark, Cliffs of Moher and the wild Atlantic way.
