Downstairs, the modern kitchen and bathroom provide everything you need—with high-pressure water, an overhead rainfall shower, and reverse-cycle aircon for year-round comfort. Outdoors, a wraparound deck catches the sun all day and offers views over the platform and garden—perfect for a morning coffee, sunset glass of wine, or simply watching the buzzards circle above. You’ll be staying alongside a lovingly restored historic train station (where I live), but the loft and garden offer plenty of space and privacy. There’s even a canoe on-site for guests to borrow, and I’m happy to help transport it if you’d like to explore the nearby water.
