Ideal for couples retreat or family camping adventure. Pod Teach Beag is located behind our house in a rural location. It comprises of a double bed with linen provided. 2 single floor mattresses with sleeping bags provided, ideal for children (sleeping on the floor mattresses may not be comfortable for adults). Ensuite bathroom with toilet and shower facilities. Kitchenette area with mini fridge, microwave, Kettle and toaster. Nestled in beautiful countryside with many renowned beaches close by. The picturesque fishing village of Kilmore Quay is 10km, take a boat trip from here to the Saltee Island. This is a rural location, shops and restaurants accessible by car.

My wife Helena was born and raised in Kilmore Quay and a great love for the sea. I am originally from Dublin. Before we married we back packed around Australia. We both love travel and the freedom it brings and I believe it should be affordable and accessible for all. We have 3 kids and love researching ways of affordable holidays. We have used airbnb many times in the past and will continue to do so. We did a 5 week camping tour of France in 2010. We had a dream holiday in Finland mainly possible due to great value airbnb properties. We love learning about other places, cultures and cuisines. Love camping and the outdoors and enjoy nothing more than a good sing song around a camp fire gazing at the starry sky. It is a quite rural location. There is a service station within 3km. For a bigger grocery shop or laundry facilities Wellington bridge is 8km they have a supervalue and cost cutters service station which has laundry facilities. Wexford town is 10km for bigger variety of supermarkets, laundry facilities and other retail outlets. Teach Beag is located in a rural area and you would need a car or bike to get around.
