The location is overlooking the ocean! Nothing beats that. Fiona’s communication beforehand was excellent. The bed was super comfy and the ingredients to have a quick brekkie was much appreciated

A great option when staying in Tragumna. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The private door is great so as not to be bothering the hosts when entering/leaving. A safe and comfortable place to stay in a small hamlet that leaves you...

I only stayed for one night, as I had an appointment in the area. Having said that. I'd have been happy to stay for longer. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast items in the room meant I was completely independent. I had a...

Located in the heart of Tragumna , one of the most picturesque villages in WestCork. (of course I am biased!).The Lookout is a very modern accommodation, it has wonderful views in a quiet peaceful area located along the Wild Atlantic Way, just 5km from Skibbereen. At our B&B you can look forward to a relaxing stay, enjoy the sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks and beach. The Lookout is close to the Blue Flag Beach, Skibbereen Eagle bar/restaurant (offers food on selected days only) and boasts breathtaking coastal walks.
Tragumna is an extremely safe and quiet village. Im sure you would feel right at home here. What to See and Do: Kayaking: Atlantic Sea Kayaking, Reen Pier & Lough Hyne. Reen Pier is on the way to Union Hall, about a 15 minute drive from the house. Whale Watching: Colin Barnes runs Cork Whale Watch out of Reen Pier. Nic Slocum runs Whale Watch West Cork out of Baltimore. Both tours are excellent. We suggest Cork Whale Watch as the route Colin takes will give you a whole new perspective on the coastline the house looks out onto. In addition, you will pass the seal colony located on the Stags Rocks (the group of rocks you see around the corner). Walking from the house: Tralispeen beach: turn left at Trag beach, follow the road for 1km, then take a left at the T-junction and walk 2-3 km. Towards Castletownshend: Toe Head tower can be reached by taking a right after Tralagoch beach. If you are planning to walk all the way to Castletownshend, be sure to stop at Sandy Cove beach. Nearby sightseeing: Lough Hyne - a must-visit; Rineen woods; Drombeag Stone Circle; Knockdrum Stone Fort; Liss Ard Gardens. Scenic drives: Crookhaven, Barley Cove & The Mizen Head; Bantry, Glengarriff & the Bea
