Nestled in the foothills of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains The Nook is an ideal escape for couples, families or solo business travelers who want a country setting with easy access to Dublin City and all it has to offer. -Only 35 mins from Dublin airport & 30 mins from Dublin city-centre -Ample free parking in a gated setting -Accommodates 4 guests (w) extra bed/crib option for a 5th -Access to a full private tennis court (rackets/balls provided) -Fully fitted kitchen, washer & dryer facilities -25 minute walk from the local village of Shankill with bus and train links to city centre. Guest Access: The Nook adjoins a large family home however guests have access via a private entrance and are provided with the code for the electric gates. Private internal access includes the living room, kitchen, two large upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms and a garage with private laundry facilities. External access includes the garden space as shown in the photos and private tennis court. We ask that you respect our privacy and garden area surrounding the main house. If you would like to see the rest of the garden, greenhouse or vegetable patch please notify Daniel to arrange a tour.

Local places of interest include the seaside town of Bray, Shankill village, Dalkey village, Dun Laoghaire harbour, Killiney hill, Glendalough National park, Powerscourt Estate & Gardens, and Jonnie Foxs' pub to name but a few. An extensive guidebook with recommendations for all these places is provided upon arrival. Resident Dog: We have an old Golden Retriever, Ben who likes to wander the grounds and interact with guests. He is wonderful with children however we ask that particularly young children be supervised in his company.
