The house is a 250 Sq. Metre, 4 bed property set in 1.2 acre mature garden. It is a rural location about 5 minute drive from Portsalon Beach & Golf Club & Local Pub. You can easily walk to the beach in about 20 mins (1.2 km) and the village in 40 mins We built the house as a family holiday home, it has everything you need to have a great stay. We have a sea kayak, a fantastic six-person Hot Tub, Fire Pit, covered outside space, books, board games and plenty of towels, linen and spare blankets We have super-fast WIFI, a 65in wall mounted TV, with hundreds of channels, and a smart heating system which ensures the house is never too warm or too cold. We are happy to welcome well behaved pets but must caution that we do live in a rural area with livestock, so please ensure your pet is supervised when not inside the walled garden. We have four large bedrooms. Two of the doubles have an en-suite bathroom with king-size beds and the other two bedrooms have bathrooms next to them. The sofa in the living room can also be set up as a double bed, if needed. The Kitchen/Diner is a large open space and is fully equipped with a Fridge Freezer, Electric Hob & Oven, Air Fryer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Drier, Microwave, Slow Cooker, Nespresso Coffee Machine & a large array of pots, pans and other culinary necessities. The table comfortably seats 8 with an additional 4 spaces around the breakfast-bar. The living room comfortably seats 8-10 with a double-sided multi-fuel stove for cosy evenings in front of the TV, or around the dining table chatting and playing games. We have a large patio out the back of the house, where you will find an outdoor fire with seating, a covered area with seating and the Hot Tub. There is also an outdoor table, seating 6, and additional patio chairs, if needed

My Husband and I have three adult children, a cocker spaniel, a collie and two cats. We love Sun Holidays and big Family Gatherings and travel as often as we can. We love our technology and love accommodation with WIFI so we can keep in touch with family and friends at home and research our holidays on the go. W Our family Motto has always been 'Ohana means Family and family means no-one gets left behind or forgotten...' A lot of you will recognise this from Lilo & Stitch - a firm family favourite along with Peter Pan, Hidalgo, Seabiscuit & Braveheart

There is ample space on the property for 4/5 cars. The village/beach is a 5 min drive. There are car parks at both ends of the beach. The main road doesn't have a footpath, so I would recommend driving to one of the two carparks, rather than walking to the beach, if you have kids, dogs etc.. Portsalon Beach, Pier and Golf Club are within a five minute drive. Other local sights are Fanad Lighthouse and Rathmullan House. There are many beaches around Fanad head including a Surfing Beach with a Surf School. There is a Lidl 15 mins drive from the house and other small convenience stores within 5-10 minutes drive. There is a Bar at the Pier Beach, a restaurant at the Golf Club with great food and amazing views. There are a few food trucks at the Beach Carparks. It is best to have a car when visiting, as public transport is limited to two buses per day from Letterkenny. You can walk to the beach, but it is a good walk along a main road. There is ample parking at the house and both ends of the beach have good sized car parks. I would recommend driving and parking rather than walking to the Beach/Village. Once over there, there are plenty of lovely walks and the Beach is fantastic.
