Tigh Noor consists of a self-contained studio located in a peaceful neighbourhood that has views of the Burren. The space itself is bright and airy and has many windows and skylights. It has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining and living area. The bed is a very comfortable double size. The Studio looks out onto a herb garden which guests have access to when cooking their food. There is a covered pergola area outside in order to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The studio is a mere 5 min drive from the village of Kinvara, or if one is feeling energetic enough, it is a 20 min brisk walk. Parking is on site.

Am back in Ireland after spending 21 yrs abroad. Returned to college to undergo a bachelor degree in Contemporary Art at ATU (formerly GMIT) in Galway. Kinvara is the perfect place for those interested in the Arts, be it music, writing, painting or photography. There is a great eclectic mix of people residing in the village of Kinvara, a lot of whom are well travelled. Your host is available to meet and greet you, and can be reached through BnB website for any questions you may have during your stay. Your host will also respect your private space and boundaries.

The charming seaport village of Kinvara has many attractions, namely Dunguaire Castle, a 16th century tower house that has stood proudly on the site of the 7th century stronghold of Guaire, the King of Connaught for centuries. There are an array of cafes, restaurants and pubs in the village catering for all tastes, perfect for a rural getaway or if one wants to shake off the buzz of the city. Traught beach is a mere 5 km away and is a perfect place for swimming, walking or having a picnic. This location is surrounded by many walks in and around the Burren. Galway city is a 30 min drive away and is serviced by a bus that leaves regularly from Kinvara approx. 5 times a day. Gort, the nearest small town, is a mere 15 mins drive, and that has the added attraction of Coole Park a well known walkway that hosted literary greats such as Synge, Yeats, Shaw and O'Casey.
