Michael a Kerryman, with his Australian wife Melissa look forward to welcoming you to the newly restored Tobervilla house. As world-travelers we have an appreciation for the comforts expected after days of travelling; and the prestige of an authentic grand Irish home. We have lovingly restored Tobervilla house to be an peaceful and luxurious stop on your journey. We aim to provide an experience to all guests that is sumptuous with impeccable attention to detail.

Property information

Tobervilla House (formally Westcove Hotel) is a newly refurbished grand Georgian Period guest house. Elegantly restored with reverence to it's prestigious history. Rooms are spacious, regal and beautifully finished with antique furniture. Guests are treated to absolute luxury with access to a wine bar, private hot tub use, well-equipped gym studio (being refurbished, available from 1st of July, 2025) and expansive gardens with terraces. Take in gorgeous mountain views while enjoying our continental breakfast selection and hot breakfast menu. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of our outdoor salt water hot tub system. Or bask in the Irish sun outdoors in our gardens. On requests we can arrange local activities/tours.

Neighbourhood information

Set within idyllic countryside, Tobervilla Guest House is on The Ring of Kerry between Caherdaniel and Castlecove. Surrounded mostly by countryside the house offers absolute peace and stunning views of both mountains and sea. There are many activities and sites for guests to enjoy. We are located very close to the Kerry Way walking track; on which guests may like to take short walks. There is a also St Crohane Well (Tober Na Bhile) the houses name-sake, at the top of the road; reputed to cure eye ailments. We are within 2-10 mins drive of 5 different beaches, including the famous Derrynane Beach which is patrolled in the summer time. Derrynane also boasts the historical home and gardens of the founder of the Irish Republic, Daniel O'Connell. 15 mins away in Waterville guests may enjoy a round at 2 world-famous links golf courses- Waterville Golf Course and Hogs Head. Only a few kilometers away is Irelands only Beach Bar O'Carroll's Cove steak and seafood restaurant and Bar. Within a 20 minute radius there dining options that we would only be too happy to recommend. Our local shop for food and fuel is also only a few minutes drive away in Castlecove.
