Toddys Cottage is suitable for a family, couples or small group of friends who want a break away in a rural peaceful setting. Nestled in among beautiful country farmland and only 5 minute drive to local town Ballinagh where there is shops, pubs, restaurants, post office, takeaways, playground, pharmacy, hairdressers & local beautician 5 mins from Toddys. Beautiful area for walking, fishing as Cavan is renowned for its rivers and lakes. The local GAA grounds is only a 5 minute walk and Potahee church is within view of Toddys. Cavan town is 15 minute drive away with larger retail shops, playgrounds, restaurants, pubs, swimming complex, Cavan Golf Course, Equestrian Centre, bowling, cinema, library & lots more. Lots of amenities close by include, Fleming’s Folly (10 mins drive)McSeains Pitch and Putt (10 mins drive), Ballyjamesduff Museum, Cuilcagh Mountain Board Walk, Marble Arch Caves, Tanagh Outdoor Adventure Centre, Cavan Adventure Centre & the famous McNeans Restaurant (Blacklion). Various hotels close by include the Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort, Crover House Hotel and Golf Club, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan Crystal Hotel, Slieve Russell Hotel Golf and Country Club. Toddy’s recently added 4 stables to the property and can be booked separately with the owner. There is also a new Studio called Toddy’s Hideaway at the back of Toddy’s Cottage on the same grounds and this can be booked separately and it is wheelchair accessible and sleeps 2 people. Joseph & Aishling are new hosts and are excited about there newly refurbished cottage and welcoming new people to the area. They will be 24/7 on call for any requests or help with anything there visitors require and also can give information on what the surrounding area has to offer
The cottage is set in a tranquil beautiful area but still convenient to lots of local amenities within reasonable distance. Lots of lakes, country roads for walks, equestrian centre close by, family attractions including play ground, fairy forest, killykeen forest park
