This is a modern, spacious one-bedroom apartment in a lovely quiet area in the countryside, along the Wild Atlantic Way. Only 50 meters from the sea, making for beautiful scenic walks. Shannon Airport is only a 45min drive. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit The Burren, Connemara, The Cliffs of Moher, Arann Islands, Galway Races, Galway City. Oranmore Village is just 3miles away and offers restaurants, cafes, taxis, train station, bus stop, shops and pubs with live traditional Irish music.
Hello! Fáilte! We are situated in a quiet, private neighbourhood on Kilcaimin Bay next to Galway Bay on The Wild Atlantic Way. We are a twenty minute drive to Galway City and a ten minute drive to both Oranmore village and Clarinbridge village (the home of the Oyster). We are less than a minute walk to the seashore which is rich in wildlife and there are lovely walks by the sea and also places to swim along the way. We are a family of four and live next door to your apartment. You have your own private entrance and free parking. You can be reassured that you will be very welcome and safe here and you can contact us at any time. I am a retired civil servant and both my wife and I are traditional Irish musicians. We have travelled the world in our day, so we are very aware of the needs of a guest and we put comfort, hygiene and safety at the top of our list. We wish you a very safe comfortable stay. We are situated directly beside the sea. It is a beautiful and peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still only a short drive to the shops and restaurants etc. We can reccomend numerous different scenic walks and places to visit in the area. Galway Bay Golf Resort, Galway Bay Sailing Club, Renville Park, Ardfry Castle are all within 2km of the apartment. You will have free private parking directly outside the apartment with your own private entrance. We can recommend a local taxi service. Oranmore Village is just 5km away where there is a bus service (regular buses to Galway City) and a train service (trains to Galway City and Dublin) Galway City is less than a half hour drive. Shannon Airport is just a 45min drive.
