Immerse yourself in art and nature in our beautifully crafted nature retreat. The truck, formerly known as Pinky, is now taking retirement from festivals, events and travels so you can enjoy a stay in the beautiful surrounds of West Cork. The truck is an off-grid home nestled in its own private garden, with the interactive Hortisculptures Pod for you to relax in. The land winds through broadleaf woodland to the Coomhola River, and is only a few Kilometres from the Atlantic, below the Cork and Kerry mountains. The truck has a double and single bed, as well as a small child's bed/bunk in a separate space to the main living room/bedroom. The off-grid nature of the accommodation means that the truck uses solar power and has a compost toilet.

We have recently shifted gear from lots of exploring and working the festival circuit to create a retreat here at home, in West Cork, whilst also establishing a Sudbury school and raising two children. I love to get my hands in the soil and swim in cold water. My husband Peter is an artist and sculptor who created the beautiful Pod and truck home retreat. As a working blacksmith artist Pete's studio is on the property and can be a bit noisy when he's busy creating! We will be mindful of guests need for peace and quiet, however you're welcome to check out projects and see what is going on here!

Rural area, close to Bantry and Glengarriff. It is best to have transport in this area, whether that is car or bike. However there is a bus route (the 236) a 2.5km walk away on the N71. If you are on foot our place is along the O'Sullivan Beara way.
