Aakeet Lyang Homestay is a place amidst nature. A homely environment stay blended with natural environmental surroundings. Be it the vast Pine forest, the cool breeze or the early birds coming together to enjoy feeding on the food at the terrace given by the family of the Homestay. The sound of nature around gives oneself a Time to listen to the songs of the Nature. The brooks nearby or the Birds chirping. When it comes to food, one can experience the homely cooked food sometimes blended with vegetables harvested from small Farm next to Homestay. As it located in the heart of greeneries and forest surroundings. One can go for Hike in the forest or Bird watching with families, friends or may be solo too. A 15 mins walk along the Pine forest road will reach you to one of the famous Historic school known by the name of Dowhill School and Victoria School. There are many other local sighting too you can’t miss to explore like the Chimney Heritage, Dowhill eco park, Baghgora View point, Namthing lake, Old Lepcha monastery( 200 yrs old), Mt.
