Athichans Homestay is an approved Heritage Home for tourists by Department of Tourism, Tamilnadu, India. Located in Marthandam, a beautiful area having plenty of tourists spots around. Tourists visiting Southern tip of India, Kanyakumari, can have a pleasant, healthy and safe stay in our home and tour around the beaches, Natural waterfalls, Monuments, Palaces, Heritage Temples, Churches etc., all only within 50km radius from here. Since our homestay is in the center place between Kanyakumari and Trivandrum, touring Kerala as well as Tamilnadu becomes easier and cost effective. This, Athichans puthen veedu is our Heritage property built by our ancestors based on Travancore architectural designs and building materials for a healthy stress free environment inside. Garden maintained around the building have medicinal, flowering and fruit yielding plants and a natural pond. Trivandrum air port one hour, and Railway station 10 minutes from here. Pickup and drop and touring vehicles shall be arranged based on requirements. Foods can be prepared here or shall be arranged based on requests. The host Dr. T. Jayasekher, is Masters in Philosophy(M.Phil), Doctorate(PhD) in Environmental Science, Masters in Business Management (MBA), Masters in Journalism(MA JMC), and Masters in Social Work(MSW). He is an Environmentalist and nature loving person. Published articles in various environmental research journals. Interested in environmental awareness activities like educating students and public about the importance of healthy environment. Counseling for students and family and activities in creating drug free country.
