Ayana's Homestay is a family owned and operated business, the name Ayana comes from the first baby girl born in the Nair family. After being in Rajasthan for about 40 years my parents decided to relocate back to our home town and that is when I came up with the idea of opening our house to visitors from other parts of the country and around the world. I have travelled extensively throughout India and a bit abroad, doing so I have wished if I could speak the local language of the place I'm visiting to enhance my experience. And since we speak multiple language like Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Rajasthani, Tamil, a bit of Nepalese and of course English, it makes total sense to have guests come sty with us and understand the Kerala the best way possible. You will be Greeted with open arms (if situation permits) and welcomed to our house, when you leave it will feel like you are leaving your family behind.

Ayana's Homestay is a family home of a traditional Kerala family with a traditional Kerala architecture. "Nalkettu" which literally means 4 sides covered and a courtyard in the middle. We welcome our guests in our house with rooms designed specifically for them. All our rooms have a view, some with River View and some with Farm or Garden View. Ayana's Homestay is trying its best to provide quality stay and quality food to our valuable guests to support that we have our own free range chickens and we are also working on getting our own Fish farm. We are also working a vegetable farming technique know as Hydroponic farming and hope that in the near future we will be able to provide our own fruits and vegetables to our valued guests. Please note that we do not have road access as we live on an Island. Please help us make your arrival experience better by making sure that you call us for proper directions and not rely completely on the maps as it shows that you can drive till the house which is incorrect. THERE IS A PAID PARKING SPOT ACROSS THE RIVER OPPOSITE OUR HOUSE, FROM WHERE WE BRING YOU HOME BY BOAT. BECAUSE OF THIS REASON WE ADVICE YOU TO COME DURING THE DAY TIME AS SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK ITS SCARY AS THEY DONT SEE THE PROPERTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. ALSO KINDLY AVOID LATE NIGHT CHECK INs.

Kerala Backwaters if famous of it lakes and lagoons, and Ayana's is situated right by the water giving our guests the experience of the backwaters like no other place. The famous Shree Krishna Swami Temple is only 3 Kms from our house, Ad52 Chambakulam Church is only 7 Kms away. If you want to stay away yet close to the city then Alleppey town is only 16 kms away and we have access to taxi, Tuk-Tuk or even local buses to get there.
